MH Therapy is managed by Maz Harvey. I have been a practising therapist for over 18 years and during that time I have acquired considerable experience in many different fields of bodywork therapy.
My interest in therapy was sparked by a football injury I received at an early age. After 18 months of various attempts to get to the root of my problem I was eventually put on the track to recovery by a local ‘Therapist’ who had acquired skills from his father who in turn had acquired knowledge and treatment skills from his travels in the Far East.
I enjoy learning about the many aspects of healthcare and clinical therapy and fully enjoy applying this knowledge to the benefit of someone in pain or discomfort.
I have trained with the Sports Rehab and Education Services, the Northern Institute of Massage and have completed many other CPD courses learning a variety of treatment protocols such as Maitland and Mulligan mobilisations, Dry needling and Japanese Massage.
I am a member of several organisations including the highly respected Society of Sports Therapists and NAMMT - the National Association of Massage and Manipulative Therapists.
Note I am a Sports Therapist not only a sports massage therapist. To gain this qualification involves a considerable amount of study and assessment along with ongoing Continuing Professional Development.
